The lowest and the medium speeds are used in normal conditions and when the amount
of vapors is small. The highest speed should be used only when the amount of kitchen
vapors is high, e.g. when frying or grilling dishes.
Safe operation
The safety instructions provided in this manual must absolutely be observed!
Thefatlterandtheactivecarbonltershouldbechangedinaccordancewiththemanu-
facturer’s recommendation or more often in case of intensive use (more than four hours a
day).Whenthegasovenisbeingused,anamemustnotbeleftuncovered.Whentaking
potsoffofthegasburners,theminimumheightoftheameshouldbeset.Itisalways
necessarytocheckiftheameextendsbeyondthepotbecausethiscausesunnecessary
energy loss and a dangerous concentration of heat.
The ventilation hood should not be used for purposes other than those that it is designed
for.
Connecting the hood to power supply network and controlling its operation
After connecting the hood to the electric network (in accordance with the previously de-
nedrequirements),itisnecessarytocheckifthelightoftheventilationhoodworksandif
the motor works properly. After installing the hood, the electric outlet should be accessible
so that it is possible to unplug the ventilation hood.
